Behind the spotlight

At home between the Gulf and Europe

I am Mina Kupa, a 28-year-old investor and business manager of Kurdish, Turkish and Greek heritage. Over 8 years of work across the Gulf and Europe, I have learned that good businesses are built in the details: the right partner, the right timing and a clear line to the customer.

I serve as Business Manager at Pexus Technology Group LLC, a Baghdad company founded in 2014 that brings marketing, cinematic media, custom software and events under one roof. The role keeps me close to how companies in Iraq actually grow, and that closeness shapes every investment I make.

As an investor, I back tech startups, real estate, general trading and cosmetics. My markets are the Gulf, through Dubai and Iraq, and Europe, through Greece and Türkiye. I look for founders who know their customers by name and for assets that make sense in more than one market.

This site is where I keep my work in the light. If you are building something in one of my markets, or want to invest alongside me, I would like to hear from you.

Identity

Where I come from

  • Kurdish
  • Turkish
  • Greek

My family is Kurdish, Turkish and Greek, and I grew up between those cultures rather than choosing one. That upbringing is why I move easily between Baghdad, Istanbul and Athens, and why the businesses I build connect these places instead of picking a side. I work across the Gulf and Europe today, and every market on this site is one I know in person, not from a report.

Expertise

What I work in

Technology startups, real estate, general trading and cosmetics, managed with an operator's eye

Management

  1. 01

    Business Management

Certified by Pexus Technology Group LLC. I run the day-to-day at Pexus Technologies so that every engagement is scoped, staffed, and shipped to the same standard.

  2. 02

    Operations & Delivery

I keep multi-disciplinary teams moving in one direction, marketing, media, software, and events in one operation, with clear owners and firm deadlines.

Investment

  1. 01

    Tech Startups

I back early-stage technology in markets I know firsthand, favoring products built in the customer's language and teams that solve a plain, local problem well.

  2. 02

    Real Estate

I invest in property and residency routes between the Gulf and Greece, looking for assets with a clear legal path and partners who explain the process honestly.

  3. 03

    General Trading

I trade and import between Türkiye, Greece, and Iraq, and I stay close to the mechanics: sourcing, freight, customs, and the last mile to the customer.

  4. 04

    Cosmetics & Beauty

I follow the beauty category closely and back ventures that bring authentic products to underserved markets, with Arabic-first experiences and delivery that customers can trust.

Markets

  1. 01

    Gulf Markets

Dubai and Iraq are my home ground. I know how deals are actually made here, who needs to be in the room, and how to move between the two.

  2. 02

    European Markets

Greece and Türkiye are part of my heritage and my sourcing map. I use them as a bridge, bringing Gulf capital to Europe and European goods to Iraq.

Chapters

The chapters so far

The chapters that shaped how I invest, from my first deals to the projects still under seal

  1. Chapter 01

    Starting Out

    Independent

I began in business young, learning by doing: reading a market before spending in it, building relationships before asking for anything, and finishing what I started. Those habits still shape how I work.

  2. Chapter 02

    Joining Pexus

    Pexus Technology Group LLC

I joined Iraq's full-stack growth partner in Baghdad, where marketing, cinematic media, software, and events sit under one roof. It gave me a front-row view of how businesses in Iraq actually grow.

  3. Chapter 03

    Stepping Up as Business Manager

    Pexus Technology Group LLC

I earned my Business Management certification from Pexus Technology Group LLC and took on the Business Manager role, working alongside a team of 20+ specialists across Baghdad and Tampa to keep the operation aligned and delivering.

  4. Chapter 04

    Investing at Home

    Tryptophan · Pexus Auto

I put capital behind ventures solving plain problems at home: Tryptophan, bringing authentic cosmetics from international retailers to Iraqi doors, and Pexus Auto, Iraq's automotive marketplace with reviewed sellers and an AI assistant.

  5. Chapter 05

    Building the Bridge to Europe

    P.A Golden Investment · hotwheels.iq

My Greek and Turkish roots became a working corridor. I invested in P.A Golden Investment, which guides Iraqi and Gulf investors toward Greek residency, and founded hotwheels.iq to import diecast models from Türkiye and Greece to Iraq.

  6. Chapter 06

    Paris and the Sealed Files

    ELVA Paris · Classified

ELVA Paris is in preparation, with details to be announced, and five classified projects sit behind it. I would rather announce finished work than promise it, so this chapter stays deliberately short.
